Government Day 2013
What a wonderful day we had in Augusta on April 9th! This was officially Hancock County Government Day, with our host, Senator Brian Langley. There were fifteen 4-H members attending, along with two leaders and several parents. 4-H members served as Pages, both in the House of Representatives and in the Senate. Both groups were very busy as there were ;several bills being considered on that day.

- May 3: 7:00 pm – Style Revue – Acadia Christian School
- May 14: Leaders’ Meeting 7 to 8:30 pm at Extension Office
- May 15: Deadline for Jamboree Registration – must be postmarked by this date – no exceptions!
- May 18: 9:00 am – noon – Children’s Fair – Ellsworth Elementary Middle School
- May 23: 5:30 – 7:30 pm – Jamboree Meeting at Blue Hill Fairgrounds
- June 7-9: 4-H June Jamboree at Blue Hill Fairgrounds
- June 8: Club & School Exhibit Contest at Blue Hill Fairgrounds
- July 26: Photos for Photo Contest are Due in the Extension Office
