UMaine has scheduled an H1N1 vaccine clinic for employees (and their spouses and domestic partners) and students who are in high-risk populations.
The clinic is scheduled for 10 a.m-2 p.m. Thursday Dec. 3 at Cutler Health Center. It is open to members of the UMaine community who fit into one or more of these categories:
• People under 25 years of age
• Pregnant women
• Household contacts and caregivers of infants less than 6 months old
• People 25-64 with certain health conditions, described at the state Center for Disease Control website
Those who are in one or more of these categories should register for the clinic online, beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 1. The site will remain offline until then.
Vaccine supply is limited and UMaine plans additional clinics when more vaccine becomes available.
The H1N1 shot clinic is also open to UMaine spouses and domestic partners who are considered high risk for infection. Employees, their spouses and domestic partners must present their Anthem ID cards at the clinic. There will be no charge to participants.
Please note that registration through the on line reservation system is required in order to participate in Friday’s H1N1 shot clinic.Posted in News
