French club for teens

The University of Maine’s Franco American Programs runs an after-school French club for teens (focused on grades 6-9).  We aim to provide a safe environment to learn and practice French.  Our goal is to support French-language acquisition already occurring as part of regular school-work and to introduce French to those students with no prior knowledge of the language.  We meet Mondays at the Franco American Centre from 3-5pm.

The program is taught by students enrolled in the Master’s degree program in French at the University of Maine under the supervision of Professor Susan Pinette.

We will offer two six-week sessions this spring. The first will begin on January 23, 2017; the second session will begin on March 20 2017.

Registration Form for January 23 session

Registration Form for March 20 session

Payment by check to University of Maine for $30/student for each 6-week session.
