Nutrition
University of Maine Cooperative Extension nutrition education staff provide programming to individuals, families, and community groups to help them make informed choices about food, to promote healthy lifestyles, and to support economic and social well being. Using research-based information and resources, faculty and staff help Mainers make behavior changes by:
- promoting eating well at all life stages; and
- addressing problems of hunger and food security.
