Lawrence and Lucille Parent, Singers
Lawrence Parent, originally from Quebec, was the leading citizen of Lille, ME. He ran the general store and post office and also sang in the choir with two other tenors in the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel church in Lille. Lucille Cormier Parent, an Acadian, was the church organist for over seventy years.
