Engineers Without Borders UMaine (EWB-UM) is student chapter of Engineers Without Borders-USA (EWB-USA). This organization is open to all UM students and community members who are interested in sustainability and working with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life.

Our Vision
Engineering practice and design have a profound effect on well-being. As problem solvers, we have the capacity and the responsibility to evaluate solutions with respect to their ecological, social and economic impacts. We envision UMaine Engineers Without Borders as a catalyst in the local and global transition to a sustainable culturally-conscious world.
Meetings
We meet Tuesday every week from 7 – 8 pm at the fabulous Innovation Center. Join us! We often have talks from professionals in the field, as well as free food!
