Maine Early Literacy Site (MELS) is a statewide initiative funded by the Correll Professorship in early literacy and facilitated by Dr. Susan Bennett-Armistead. This site connects and informs early literacy professionals, parents, caregivers, and others interested in children’s early literacy development. MELS will provide information about early literacy, services, programs, and opportunities in the field of early literacy education.
