Student Handbook - Approved Clinical Instructors

Approved Clinical Instructors (ACIs) have been previously discussed on page 25. The process an ATC must complete to become an ACI is to attend an initial ACI/CI Workshop designed specifically for the University of Maine’s Athletic Training Program. That ACI can maintain this status by attending a follow-up Workshop every 3 years. Each ACI has been introduced to your curriculum, modes of evaluation, and techniques of teaching ATS’ in clinical experiences. Your educational experience will be greatly enhanced if you utilize these specialists. The following is the current list of UMaine ACI’s and their Clinical Sites.
