I am a Professor in the School of Earth and Climate Sciences at the University of Maine.
My current research activities include:

My research usually involves applying computer models to better understanding field observation and test the plausibility of ideas. I have used ground-water software developed by the U.S. Geologic Survey (Modflow and Phreeqc) to simulate ground-water processes and use the computer language ‘Python’ to manipulate data. I am currently exploring the utility of ‘FiPy’, a general python-based toolkit capable of modeling a wide variety of processes, for simulating hydrogeologic processes.

Please look at my personal website to get additional information about my research activities and the classes I teach (hydro16.geology.um.maine.edu). Feel free to contact me via e-mail (asreeve@maine.edu) if you have any questions about this work.
