Did you know that faculty and staff are welcome at all UMaine Dining locations? It’s true! Not only can you dine in our retail locations, like the Marketplace and Oakes Room, but you can also get a real “taste of student life” by enjoying a meal in our residential dining facilities at York, Hilltop and Wells.
You can enjoy savings via accounts available through your MaineCard. Below is a very brief summary of the savings. Visit our Meal Plans page for details.
Dining Funds Savings:
- 10 percent discount off of cash price for all-you-care-to-eat meals at Hilltop, Wells Central and York
- 5 percent discount off of cash price for all-you-care-to-eat meals at Hilltop, Wells Central and York
Black Bear Bucks Savings:
- 5 percent discount at our convenience markets, the Marketplace, Bear’s Den, Oakes Room Café, and Bear Bites, Too

You may be familiar with the modern Catering facilities on the second floor of Wells. Did you know that UMaine Dining also has private dining rooms in Hilltop and York? Your group can choose from the options in our all-you-care-to-eat dining rooms and bring their meal to a private reserved space. Contact us for a tour or to book your next informal event:
