Extended Hours at Union Central & Well Market!
For the convenience of students, employees & guests of UMaine we’ve extended the hours to some popular UMaine dining venues:
Union Central
Now open 8am to 7pm on Mon thru Thu.
Now open 8am to 5pm on Fri
Wells Market
Now will be open the same weekend hours as the main dining area, Sat & Sun, 11am to 7pm.
UMaine Dining collaborates with UMaine Cooperative Extension for “First Advanced-Composting System” in Maine!
The new on-campus facility will turn nearly one ton of food waste from UMaine Dining facilities into a high quality advanced compost to be used for grounds and other campus needs including academics including agricultural & horticultural education.
