University of Maine Cooperative Extension Cumberland County Homemakers and Warm Up Maine 4-H Club cross the generational divide by knitting and crocheting for a purpose.
The knitted and crocheted square are provided by UMaine Extension Homemakers to Warm Up Maine 4-H Club.
The Warm Up Maine 4-H Club members will create and donate an afghan to a homeless shelter.
Warm Up Maine 4-H Club members (Back left to right – Beth, Gaetana, LaBack and Front left to right – Bridget, Cecilia, Lucia) and Marie Temm, Cumberland County Chair of the UMaine Extension Homemakers, display knitted and crocheted squares.
