In-Kind Donation Drive

Got any winter gear that doesn’t fit anymore? Why not donate it?

The employees at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Cumberland County are having an In-Kind donation drive, January 27th – 31st, 2014, for the Preble Street Resource Center in Portland. We’re collecting warm and durable clothing for those in need who are enduring the harsh winter weather. Socks, boots, sweatshirts, mittens, gloves, hats, jackets, scarves, anything warm!

Don’t have any spare winter gear but still want to contribute to the donation? That’s OK! Preble Street also has need for other various items including: backpacks, jeans, new underwear (for men, women, and teens), and personal hygiene products. (toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream, etc.)

We’re collecting the donations at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension- Cumberland County Office during office hours: 8am – 4:30pm
