Farm Business Skills Weekend Retreat

Friday evening, March 9th thru Sunday noon, March 11th 

In this weekend retreat, you will:

·         Learn a set of farm business management tools to better assess where your investments of time and equipment could return the highest rewards (ex. QuickBooks, Excel)

·         Build your farm’s budget and balance sheet and start assessing your farm business enterprises

·         Create on-line social network and customer satisfaction survey

·         Network with other Maine farmers who have set an entrepreneurial course for success

Space is limited, so register early.  The cost is $50 per farm (no more than two people), or $190 if lodging is needed. See the attached document for program and registration details.

The weekend is for farmers who operate individually, with co-managers, or with a spouse or domestic partner and is offered by the Maine Sustainable Agriculture Society and the University of Maine’s Knowledge Transfer Alliance.
