Cumberland County Master Gardener Plant Auction
January 26th, 2012The 10th Annual Cumberland County Master Gardener Plant Auction will be held on Sunday, March 11th at the Portland Flower Show, 58 Fore Street, Portland. The event, which is held in space generously provided by Portland Yacht Services, includes a silent auction from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in Building #11 and a live auction at 5:30pm in Building #3. This popular event benefits the University of Maine Cooperative Extension home horticultural program in Cumberland County.
The live auction will include hardscape, perennials, shrubs and trees from the Show’s displays.
The silent auction will include items and services donated by local garden centers, professional landscapers, Master Gardener Volunteers, and many of the vendors participating in the show.
Registration for both auctions is from 12:30pm – 2:30pm in Building #11 (directly across from the main entrance to the Flower Show) or in Building # 3 at 5:00pm. There is no admittance fee for this event.
