Tell us a little bit about yourself
I tend to live in “M” states: I was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, attended graduate school in College Park, Maryland, and now live in Bangor, Maine. I love spending time with my partner and our two children, reading, singing, traveling, trying new things, and being outdoors.
What has been your most embarrassing moment (either at work or play)?
My little boy often tricks me into saying very embarrassing things very loudly in public. I will refrain from repeating them here.
What is your favorite comfort food?
Pastry of all kinds.
If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Someday I want to go camping with my family in the Pacific Northwest. I’d also like to see the Azores in Portugal and Machu Picchu in Peru.
Your favorite quote…
You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.- Mahatma Gandhi
