Nancy E. Hall, Associate Professor, is recognized for her expertise in fluency disorders and undergraduate research. Her areas of research include the relationship between language and fluency in early language acquisition in both typically developing children and those with communication disorders. Currently, Dr. Hall chairs the Fluency and Fluency Disorders Program Committee of the 2012 ASHA National Convention. She recently served on the ASHA Joint Coordinating Committee on Evidence Based Practice, and is a past editor of Perspectives in Fluency and Fluency Disorders, the peer-reviewed publication of ASHA’s Special Interest Division in Fluency and Fluency Disorders. Dr. Hall was the founding Director of the University of Maine’s Center for Undergraduate Research and served in that capacity for five years.
