Guest Seating

Alfond Arena will open its doors at 8 a.m. on May 11. General admission seating is available in all bleacher locations. Floor seating is reserved for graduating students, faculty and individuals with special needs. Early arrival is recommended to avoid traffic congestion and to obtain choice seating.

In order to accommodate the guests of all UMaine graduates, we must limit the number of guests to six (6) per graduate. Holding and/or reserving seats will not be allowed.

Overflow Seating

Should the arena fill to capacity, as determined by the fire marshal, shuttle buses will transport guests to a designated overflow seating area where ceremonies will be broadcast on a live video feed.
