As the Staff Associate for Student Affairs, I work with both Commuter & Non-Traditional Student Programs (CNTSP) and Veterans Education and Transition Services (VETS). On any given day you might find me in either the VETS office , 134A Memorial Union or the Commuter Lounge , 228 Memorial Union. My primary responsibility is to provide support and advocacy for commuters, non traditional students and student veterans at UMaine.
I have worked in Student Affairs at UMaine for over 30 years, and I know the campus well, which helps me connect students to other resources. I really enjoy meeting and working with commuters, non traditional, and student veterans and helping them be successful here at UMaine.
As a doctoral student, a full-time staff member and having raised two children ( both in their 2o’s now) , like many of you, I wear multiple hats in my life. I am committed to helping commuters, non-traditional students, and student veterans- make the most of their University of Maine experience.
