*** Newly enrolled  new students: first year commuters and non-traditional students should register and attend  your college Summer Orientation session if at all possible.

Summer Orientation will include meeting with your academic college faculty and include class enrollment.

A Special Fall  Welcome/Orientation/Maine Hello  Day

FOR

New students who live off campus
August 28, 2014

This daylong program will provide a chance for you to meet other new and returning commuter students , including  First Year students ( recent high school grads) , nontraditional students  and student veterans . You will  learn more about the resources and services available to you .  The day schedule will include  a Welcome,  Introduction to Commuter & Non-Traditional Student Programs ( CNTSP)  services and resources ,  a tour campus to locate your classes ,  trip to the  UMaine Bookstore to purchase books , lunch with returning commuter students   and more .

Start from  Commuter lounge .
Financial  Aid, Bursars, Bookstore, Marketplace,  Recreation Center , The Mall, Student Services Center ( Maine Cards, Parking Permits )  Bring your class schedule and we’ll  show you where your class meets.

Tips for success
Meeting with returning  commutes , traditional age , non traditional  and student veterans  who will  share tips, tricks, resources, and events, at UMaine that you’ll wnat to know about
