New Program Name
Construction Management Technology at the University of Maine has a new name but it is the same great program. The name was changed so that the program could continue to be accredited under the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET (abet.org) Construction Engineering criteria. Being accredited under the construction engineering criteria allows our graduates to seek professional engineering licensure in many states including Maine.
The Construction Engineering Technology program is a blend of civil engineering technology, construction, and business management. Starting with a basic grounding in mathematics and the physical sciences, the student is concurrently and progressively taught:
