Diversity - Diversity Committee

The Diversity Committee is comprised of students and a faculty advisor who meet regularly with the goal of helping to ensure that the program fulfills its stated mission. The committee works toward enhancing diversity sensitivity, knowledge, and related skills across all training domains, including the curriculum, professional development, research, and clinical experiences. A major function of the committee is coordinating didactic experiences ranging from brown bag professional development seminars to more lengthy retreats featuring a wide variety of presenters and topics. This includes the annual Stanley Sue Lecture, a lecture series created by the Diversity Committee that invites distinguished professionals to speak to the psychology department about issues related to  diversity.
