The Advising Center for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) is hosting a daylong workshop for the university community covering a wide range of advising topics on Monday, September 23. This workshop will better acquaint faculty and staff with the rigors of student advising and provide additional resources for addressing complex questions often asked by advisees.
The entire workshop will take place in the Buchanan Alumni House, with the Opening Remarks taking place in the McIntire Maine Event Room at 9:30am and the rest of the sessions located in various rooms throughout the building.
A small breakfast will be provided both before and after the Opening Remarks, beginning at 9:15pm, and a light lunch will be offered at noon. There will then be a total of sixteen workshop sessions throughout the day to choose from, with four sessions being offered during four different time slots (10am, 11am, 1pm, and 2pm).
