Bio:
I grew up in Moultonboro NH, attended UNH, and decided life experience to be more important than jumping into any one field. I traveled a little and settled working as a residential, year-round wilderness Councilor for adjudicated youth in Benson, VT. In this period of three years working at Eckerd Youth Alternatives, I met my wife and decided that I enjoyed teaching. I went back to school to become a teacher, which I did for 5 years before taking this job at the University of Maine. I was brought here by my desire to become a part of something greater that could change the way Science is taught in Maine schools.
I have worked as a teacher at Telstar in Bethel, Maine, and at Penquis Valley in Milo, Maine.
