Bio: I am a Maine Certified Soil Scientist, New Hampshire Certified Wetland Scientist, and Maine Licensed Site Evaluator. I have worked since 1997 for S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc., a local geo-sciences engineering firm, as a consulting scientist conducting natural resource identification, assessment, and alteration permitting. My title at SW Cole is Senior Wetland Scientist and Ecological Services Team Leader. I also co-own Burman Land & Tree Company with my husband Bill Burman, also a UMaine alumni. We have a son, Henry, who is 12 years old. We enjoy most outdoor activities and spend as much time as we can at our camp in eastern Maine. I sang professionally for many years and occasionally still do studio work for other musicians. I am active in my professional associations and with the Orrington Boy Scouts.
