Thanks for visiting the Campus Activities Board website! The campus activities board is a student run organization devoted to the UMaine student body. CAB events are open to all UMaine students and any student interested in joining CAB can be involved on a variety of levels. Our events vary from supporting large concerts to hosing intimate leadership development sessions and everything in between.
Who can join CAB? Any student who is interested in planning activities and having a great time doing it is welcome to join CAB! There are many things that you could do as a member – the options are all yours. We are open to your ideas!!
What do we do? CAB collaborates with multiple student groups to host programs around campus. Members of CAB host Kickin’ Flicks and campus late nights, they help design and support the annual Halloween festivities, Student Leadership Conference and Stress Free Finals. In addition, CAB through the the campus affiliation with NACA (National Association of Campus Activities) sends a student delegation to the annual regional conference. The conference will host over 500 performers and CAB members helps choose which acts to bring to UMAINE.
What is the commitment? CAB members are committed to hosting campus events throughout the year. The group will meet at least twice a month, work together with Student Entertainment, and assist in the promotion and organization of campus programs.
