Meet our Staff - Patty Counihan
Patty Counihan, M.Ed. and National Certified Counselor (NCC)
Patty is the Director of the Career Center, overseeing all programs and services offered by the office, and she serves as the liaison and consultant between the Career Center and its constituencies within and beyond the university. She is an adjunct faculty member for the College of Education and Human Development and teaches the graduate course, Counseling for Career Development, for the Counselor Education program. She is also the instructor for the course INT 196, Academic and Career Exploration Internship. She holds a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with minors in English and French from Grove City College.
