Cathryn Marquez, M.Ed, N.C.C.
is the Assistant Director for Employer Relations. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing UMaine CareerLink, the Career Center’s on-line, interactive job and internship listing service. Her position also entails extensive networking with employers, communicating regularly with human resources professionals, as well as teaching and coaching students through the job search process.
Cathy holds certification with the National Board of Certified Counselors. She received her M.Ed in Counselor Education from the University of Maine. Her undergraduate degree is a BA in French, also from the University of Maine.
She has prior experience in human resources and was also employed in the field of student counseling and advising for 12 years at Eastern Maine Community College
