The 2012 Engineering Job Fair provided UMaine students with the opportunity to meet with potential employers. Engineers of all grade levels were able to interact directly with the companies and create connections. This year 77 employers were represented, a 20% increase from last year, and approximately 800 students attended.
What to wear is one of the big concerns students can have when getting ready for a job fair. The Career Center Pinterest account has lots of examples to help you create the perfect outfit. http://bit.ly/TGzhY1
We’ve mentioned the Maine Mentor Program before and we will do it again. Making connections with alumni in your field of study can create many possibilities. Take time to explore the MMP database and set up an informational interview with an alumni. http://bit.ly/Rbbr2O

The best part of the day is watching students connect with employers. Our Facebook photo album includes many more shots from the event. http://on.fb.me/OLg1GC
We hope you had a great time at #EJF2012. Thanks to all the students, volunteers and employers!
