Career Center Resources Part VI: Health Professions & Pre-Law
Attention all students considering a career in law or health care!! The Career Center is here to help you reach your goal. Crisanne Blackie is the Career Center’s Health and Legal Professions Career Specialist. She works with all students going to graduate school in order to become a health care provider and all students interested in attending law school. Whether you are considering law school, medical school, dental school, pharmacy school, vet school, or any other graduate program in the health care or legal fields, Crisanne is here to help you throughout the entire process. Getting started early is important so stop in or call the Career Center today to set up an appointment with Crisanne, or stop by during her walk-in hours on Wednesdays from 8am-2pm.
There are also some great opportunities for involvement right here on campus if you are considering health and legal professions. If you are interested in legal professions, the UMaine Pre-Law Society is a student organization that will give allow you to connect with other pre-law students and learn more about the field. If you are interested in a career in the health field, the Health Professions Club can provide a similar service for you! Students interested in either the UMaine Pre-Law Society or the Health Professions Club should contact Crisanne Blackie in the Career Center.
