Eligibility

• Open on a competitive basis to graduate students wishing to improve or maintain their proficiency in French
• Students at intermediate levels of proficiency in French will be considered
• Awards available to US citizens and permanent residents

Award

• $2,400 stipend for room and board
• Tuition waiver
• Travel expenses defrayed up to $1000

Requirements

• Candidates must be willing to commit to a 6-week French Immersion program in the US or Canada
• Locate one 6-week program, or take two programs which equal 6 weeks
• Studies must take place between Spring and Fall terms
• Written evaluation must be submitted upon completion
