Erica Quin-Easter
Comments: Erica is working towards a Ph.D. in Canadian-American History. Her research interests are nationalism, language policy, and identity in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and in particular, how these histories intersected in the political, civic, and private lives of people in the Northeastern U.S and in the Atlantic Canada and Quebec.
Erica holds a B.A. in Political Science from New College of Florida and a M.A. in American and New England Studies from the University of Southern Maine. Originally from western Massachusetts, she lived in Maine since 1999 and now resides in Northen Aroostook County where she enjoys both studying and living in the borderlands.
