Gabriel Levesque


Gabriel Louis Levesque, from Augusta, Maine, is a second year PhD student in History. His primary focus is on late 18th and early 19th century African-Canadian identity in the Maritime Provinces, including Quebec. Secondarily, his work also concerns with questions of Canadian national identity.

Gabriel Levesque is currently receiving the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS).
