Sponsor / Exhibitor Info - Outside Exhibitor and Demonstration Policies

All outside exhibitor and demonstrators must cover any expenses associated with the setup, operation, and tear down of their displays.

All displays must be in accordance with City of Dearborn and State of Michigan Laws. If you require additional outdoor space contact Mark King (mark.a.king@maine.gov) for additional associated fees.

An expert from the company or educational institution must be on site to set up, run, and remove the equipment.

All demonstrations and outside displays must have a written plan for setup, operation (if planned), and removal submitted to Megghan Honke (honkemeg@msu.edu) for approval by February 15, 2012. Please be sure to include your material and equipment needs and how you will procure the equipment.

Michigan State University will provide access to materials for composting, including animals, but expenses for materials must be paid for by demonstrator.

Michigan State University can provide a list of companies to rent equipment or Michigan State University can rent the needed equipment and then equitably divide the costs among vendors or demonstrators who use the equipment. This process will be determined based on demonstrator and vendor response.

Set up for demonstrations should take place no earlier than necessary for completion of demonstration. Include setup plan in registration for demonstration space.

Tear down and removal of all equipment and waste must be complete by 5 p.m. on May 25, 2012 from Tollgate.

Setup for outside displays must not start before Monday, May 21, 2012.

Tear down and removal of outside displays at the Hotel must be complete by 5 p.m. on May 24, 2012.
