Graduates of this program are equipped with the tools and techniques that will open doors to entry level staff, supervisory, or administative positions in business, government, nonprofit, or industries. Students in management follow a program that is broad in scope and aimed at developing the student’s grasp of administrative and organizational principles. Subject matter offered includes administration and organizational theory, motivational and social systems, human resource management, operations, and decision and policy making systems.

Management Courses and Electives
Students are required to take BUA 326, BUA 330 + 3 electives. However, students entering the Maine Business School in fall, 2008 or later are required to take BUA 326, BUA 330, BUA 367 + 2 electives.
Sample Curriculum: Note that, although the following is a suggested curriculum, students should be aware that the upper-level management classes noted above as requirements are offered only once a year. Students must take responsibility for ensuring they meet all course prerequisities. Taking BUA325 in the sophomore year is assumed.
