The University of Maine Business School serves as the primary source of management education, research, and service in the state of Maine. Through the integration of teaching, research, and extensive interactions with the business community, the Maine Business School develops and communicates knowledge, prepares students for successful careers in a global economy, and contributes to the economic development of the region.
As a professional school in Maine’s land-grant university, the MBS is engaged in significant outreach to business and government throughout the state.
The Maine Business School, contributing to the land-grant mission of the University, primarily serves full-time, traditional undergraduate students from the State of Maine, 30% of whom are first generation college students. The graduate student population includes a large percentage of international students as well as students from Maine.
