Primitive Program Path - Primitive Living (ages 12-14)

Build on your knowledge from Primitive Skills or challenge yourself in learning the ways of the primitive path. Learn about wild edibles and medicinal wild plants. Gather cool water from a nearby stream and learn how to purify it for drinking. Experience important survival skills such as debris shelter and creating fire using a bow drill! You will even learn to make your own tools and rope as the Native peoples of Maine once did! Immerse yourself in the natural world and learn the skills of silent stalking and tracking as you reconnect with the wilderness environment. Some campers may make spoons, bowls, or a bow drill set to take home with them!
