Primitive Program Path - Primitive Challenge (ages 14-17)

This immersion in primitive living and survival will require you to rely on skills and leadership developed during this week as your camping gear is taken away a bit at a time.  You’ll learn to work as a group, making a natural shelter and dwelling, primitive friction fire, backcountry cooking, and more. Learn various uses of wild plants, tool craft, knife safety, carving, water purification, rope making, nature observation, awareness, tracking, and silent movement.

The week culminates with a 24-hour “survival challenge.” During the challenge, you will be provided with only basic food, a knife, and a piece of cordage. Your self reliance skills will be put to the test!
