Primitive Program Path - Black Bear Cubs (ages 7 – 10)

Black Bear Cubs is perfect for those younger campers who are interested in the beauty of the natural world and the simplicity of the primitive lifestyle. These campers will enjoy the serenity of the natural world at Bryant Pond’s “Split Rock Camp” by day and the comfort of our bunkhouse by night. Black Bear Cub camp creates a  balance between learning and play. Childhood games will become real survival skills as we meld fort building into basic shelter construction. The young camper’s curiosity and need for exploration will be cultivated with tracking and natural awareness lessons. The week will also include traditional camp activities like swimming, canoeing, hiking and ropes course challenges to round out the week.
