Maine Woods Adventure Programs - Fly Fishing Camp (ages 12 – 14)
There is no other sport that has defined the real Maine experience as well as Fly Fishing! People have traveled from far away to experience the joys of landing a hungry brook trout with a fly rod! Follow in the footsteps of “Fly-Rod Crosby” and Carrie Stevens as you learn proper fly fishing technique and fly patterns, casting variations, and fish identification. Learn how to tie your own flies, and then use them on the waters of the famous Wild River or Androscoggin! Our instructors, with the assistance from members of Trout Unlimited will guide you to successfully mastering your casting and hopefully help fill your creel with fish! Other camp activities will also round out your camp experience, including our Thursday evening campfire and cookout.
