Structures: an exhibition of recent work by Matt R. Foster. A graduating senior with a BA in Studio Art from the Department of Art at the University of Maine, Matt Foster’s work explores the fundamental desires of freedom, love, and growth.  His work focuses on parallels, between these essential needs and the artist’s motivation to create and grow with and through creative practice. In this sense, Foster sees each of his works as a form of self-portraiture, as a reflection upon the experiences of his life.
