Philanthropy - Late Night Local

 “Do you need a ride?”

In a mission to end Drinking and Driving, and to promote safe driving practices, students represent the University of Maine by donating their time each semester on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 PM until 2 AM throughout the Fall and Spring semesters to provide safe rides to students of the Orono campus. Members of two campus organizations,  transport about 250 students every weekend to their final destinations, and save an estimated 1000 lives each semester.
