Kim to be recognized for Excellence in Faculty Mentoring
April 29, 2016 – Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School Carol Kim will be honored as UMaine’s outstanding faculty mentor for 2016. This award was introduced by the ADVANCE Rising Tide Center in 2014 to enhance the retention of new and junior faculty at UMaine by encouraging development of mentoring relationships. Kim will receive the award at the faculty recognition luncheon between the morning and afternoon commencement ceremonies on May 14.
