Co-founder of Earth Science Women’s Network visits UMaine March 24
The ADVANCE Rising Tide Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Meredith Hastings of Brown University as the keynote speaker at the 5-year anniversary celebration of the Rising Tide Center on March 24. Hastings is a co-founder of the Earth Science Women’s Network, recipeint of an NSF Career Award, and was named one of the 100 Most Inspiring Women in STEM by Insights into Diversity. She will offer a presentation titled, “From Ice Cores to Cities to Oceans: Fingerprinting Reactive Nitrogen Sources and Chemistry,” at 1 pm at the Buchanan Alumni House.
