4-H Events - 4H @ UMaine: Connecting Kids to Campus

Come join us for 4-H@UMaine, May 16-17, 2014!

4-Her working at a shielded work stationYouth ages 12-17 can join the fun of becoming familiar with campus and what it has to offer: stay in dorm rooms overnight, eat at the dining halls, and attend workshops presented by UMaine professors to get a real feel of what college. We hope to see you all there!

“4-H is your first class at the University of Maine.”

4-H@UMaine takes place on the University of Maine, Orono campus from Friday, May 16 at 3:00 PM until Saturday, May 17 at 5:30 PM. Join us for:

  • Workshops taught by college personnel may include: science, arts, social science
  • Activities at the Recreation Center
  • Stay in a real college dorm room
  • Eat at a real college dining hall
  • Meet friends and make new ones from across Maine
  • And…visit the Invention Convention, too!

Cost

  • 4-H Members: $50 per participant; $40 per subsequent 4-H youth from the same family
  • Non-4-H Members: $70 per participant

Register early—workshops fill up FAST! Registration deadline: April 25, 2014. Cancellations after May 5 will be billed a 50% cancellation fee.
