The Maine 4-H Equine Science Committee is hosting Everything Equine for Maine 4-H at the Whitter Research Farm at the University of Maine in Orono on Sunday March 11, 2012. All 4-H youth interested in horses are welcomed to attend. Staff at the University research farm will put on workshops including how to perform a physical exam on your horse and doing groundwork and retraining Standardbreds. There will also be activities for Cloverbuds and a tack swap. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged by March 5.
