4-H National Youth Science Day

Explore your World!

The 2013 National Science Experiment, 4-H Maps & Apps, explores how geography and geographic information systems (GIS) help people make smart decisions that improve lives, respect our natural resources, and make a positive impact in our world.

In this year’s experiment, 4-H Maps & Apps, young people will become geospatial thinkers as they design and map their ideal park, use GIS mapping to solve community problems and contribute data about their community to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

Join in the 4-H National Youth Science Day Experiment, Maps & Apps! at Topsham Public Library!

  • When:  November 23rd, 1:00 pm
  • Where:  Topsham Public Library
  • Who:  Any youth, ages 9-18
  • How:  Register at the library.  Space is limited.
